Synopsis:
Cloud-cook Feng Zhengming time-travels back to the 1990s and apprentices under a master chef of a century-old restaurant.
Armed with recipes and skills he once downloaded from every famous chef on the internet, he expects a smooth climb to becoming a Great Chinese Chef—only to watch the restaurant go bankrupt.
After seeing his disheartened mentor off to retirement in the countryside, Feng decides the first priority is cash.
He starts by selling boxed lunches outside the train station, using every trick he learned in both lifetimes.
Box by box, yuan by yuan, he builds his first pot of gold, buys back the shuttered restaurant, and invites his old master to command the kitchen once more—while his own name is carved onto the roll of China’s culinary legends.
